Action Based Learning Experience (ABLE) Scholarship
Summer semester; applicants should indicate they are applying for ABLE scholarship on application; applicants must be registered for Course HSER 1125 Action Based Learning Experience; evidence of academic achievement, leadership and volunteerism; consideration for financial need and life circumstances. $350

"Add It Up" Scholarship
Inver Hills is offering all first-year students the opportunity to receive a $1000 scholarship simply for completing at least 30 credits during a one-year period at Inver Hills. $1000

Alumni Scholarship
Fall or spring; evidence of clear academic goals; special consideration for financial need, life circumstances; demonstrated academic achievement; $500

Art Scholarship
Fall or Spring; student must be an AFA second semester student; both letters of recommendation must be from art instructors; demonstrated academic achievement; $500

Barbara J. Miller Scholarship
Fall and Spring. Priority to returning adult student; scholastic achievement (gpa), financial need, life circumstances, recommendations and honors, career goals and campus and/or community service/leadership. $1000

Building Brighter Futures Scholarship
Fall and spring; evidence of clear career goals; special consideration for financial need; special consideration for challenging life circumstances; demonstrated academic achievement; $500

Catherine and David DeSutter Opportunity Scholarship
Fall or Spring: review of scholastic achievement (gpa), financial need, life circumstances, recommendations and honors, career goals and campus and/or community service/leadership. $500 to $1000

Cheryl Frank Emerging Leader Scholarship
Fall or spring semester; full or part time; evidence of exemplary leadership experience and qualities and leadership goals; evidence of clear career goals; $500

CHS A3 Scholarship for Agriculture Careers
Fall or Spring. Full or part time students pursuing a career in agriculture. Must include evidence of clear career goals in narrative. Awarded based on evidence of career goals, challenging life circumstances, academic achievement, financial need, leadership and volunteerism. $1000 for spring semester 2015

CHS Stewardship Endowed Scholarship
Fall or Spring; full or part time; students pursuing a career in science and environmental studies who also volunteer their time to environmental issues. Must include description of volunteer environmental activities in narrative. Evidence of academic achievement, leadership, volunteerism; consideration for life circumstances and financial need; $500

Connie McCoy Scholarship
Fall: review of scholastic achievement (gpa), financial need, life circumstances, recommendations and honors, career goals and campus and/or community service/leadership. $500.

Dakota Electric Scholarship
Fall and spring; part time; evidence of well-formulated academic and career goals; special consideration for financial need; special consideration for limited family financial support; special consideration for extraordinary life challenges; cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher; up to $500

Debi Malicki Memorial Scholarship
Fall or spring; at least two semesters of mathematics at IHCC; registered for at least 6 credits; must have taken at least one developmental MATH class (numbered below 1000) and has demonstrated success in at least one college level math course; minimum of 12 IHCC credits completed; cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or higher; $500 to $1,000

Dennis Anderson Memorial Scholarship
Fall and spring; Phi Theta Kappa member in good standing; special consideration for financial need; $500 to $1,000 (tuition or books)

Doffing Scholarship
awarded to a resident of Hastings who is returning to college for training for a career change; well-formulated academic and career goals; demonstrated academic achievement; special consideration for financial need and life circumstances. $2500

Doug Knapp Memorial Scholarship
Fall or spring; for students involved in environmental work or in the study of philosophy; evidence of academic achievement, leadership and volunteerism; consideration for financial need and life circumstances. Amount varies.

Elaine Lucking Memorial Scholarship
Fall and spring; demonstrated interest in business with a marketing or sales emphasis and evidence of well-formulated academic and career goals; special consideration for financial need; cumulative grade-point average of 2.00 or higher; $500

Ellen McGee Scholarship
Full or part time: evidence of clear career goals; demonstrated campus or community service or leadership; special consideration for financial need; special consideration for challenging life circumstances; amount varies.

Flint Hills STEM Scholarship
Fall and spring; full or part time; science, technology, engineering and math students. (Does not include health care practitioner.) Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; $1250 to $2500

Frank Mitchell Memorial Scholarship
Fall only; pursuing a degree in business; evidence of well-formulated career goals in business, sales, or marketing; $250

Fraternal Order of Minnesota Police Lodge Scholarship
Fall or Spring; full or part time; priority for students in Law Enforcement or EMS; demonstrated academic achievement, leadership and volunteerism; consider- ation for financial need and life circumstances. $500

The Frederick and Margaret L. Weyerhaeuser Foundation Nursing Scholarship
Two-semester scholarship for nursing students; preference given to first generation students and im¬migrants; evidence of clear career goals and academic achievement; consideration for financial need and life circumstances as well as honors/awards and campus community service; $6000

GED Scholarship
Fall semester; student must submit GED examinee form with test scores; evidence of academic achievement, leadership and volunteerism; consideration for financial need and life circumstances. $500

George A. Slipka Accounting Scholarship
Fall or Spring: full time: available for full-time accounting student, clear career goals, maintain satisfactory gpa, provide evidence of financial need, show evidence of community service, leadership or previous work experience. Student is expected to maintain at least part-time job while attending college. $500 to $1000.

UTC Aerospace Systems Veteran’s Scholarship
Fall or Spring; full or part time; available for veterans or persons currently serving in the military; evidence of academic achievement, financial need, special life circumstances, honors/awards, well-defined career goals, and campus/community service. $2000-$500

Joan Costello Scholarship
Fall or spring semester; evidence of clear career goals and demonstrated academic achievement; consideration for financial need and challenging life circumstances; amount varies.

John H. Thill Endowed Scholarship
Fall or spring; for veterans and their spouses or their children giving preference to veterans; evidence of clear career goals, academic achievement and financial need; amount varies

Kopp Family Foundation Scholarship

Laurence J. Margolis Scholarship
Fall or Spring: Special consideration for a student majoring in Fine Arts area, financial need, scholastic achievement (gpa), life circumstances, recommendations and honors, career goals and campus and/or community service/leadership. $500.

LeRoy Nelson Nursing Scholarship
Fall or spring; student must have been admitted into the nursing program; demonstrated academic achievement; consideration for financial need and life circumstances; special consideration for first generation college student; also special consideration for veterans, persons currently serving in the military or children of veterans; $500

Music Scholarship
Awarded fall or spring semester; Student must register for one music course each semester in which they are awarded this scholarship; overall GPA of 3.0 and cumulative music course GPA of 3.5; life circumstances and financial need also considered; amount varies.

Nursing Scholarship
Fall or spring (awarded only once per year); third- or fourth-semester nursing student; special consideration for financial need; special consider¬ation for single parent; cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher; $1,000

Phuong B. Nguyen Memorial Scholarship
Fall or spring; student must be enrolled in accounting or business program; evidence of academic achievement, leadership and volunteerism; consideration for financial need and life circumstances. $1000-$500

Robert and Alexandra Klas Endowed Scholarship

Ron Wiger Memorial Scholarship
Fall or spring semester; demonstrated academic achievement, clear academic goals and financial need; special consideration for a Veteran; $500-$1,000.

Ruth and Art Gessner Memorial Scholarship
Fall or spring; student must be enrolled in coursework in developmental reading or writing and show satisfactory progress. One of the letters of recommendation must come from the instructor of the reading or writing class. Consideration for campus or community service, financial need and extraordinary life circumstances. Amount varies.

SKB Environmental Rosemount Community Trust Scholarship
Fall and spring; 5 credits minimum; special consideration for financial need; must be Rosemount resident; up to $1,000 full time, $500 part time.

Student Life Scholarship
Fall or spring semester; demonstrated academic achievement (3.0 GPA) and leadership in college or community; clear academic goals, financial need and life circumstances also considered, amount varies.

Student Scholarship+ Program Scholarship
Full-year (fall-spring); full or part time both terms; at least half of credits must be in degree courses (numbered 1000 or higher); special consideration for financial need; cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher to qualify and for spring semester renewal; $1,000 to $2,000 (one-half awarded per semester)

Terri Kroshus Memorial Scholarship
Fall or spring; student must be enrolled in accounting or business program; evidence of academic achievement, leadership and volunteerism; consideration for financial need and life circumstances. $1000-$500

Thomson Reuters STEM Scholarship
Fall and spring; full or part time; science, technology, engineering and math students. (Does not include health care practitioner.) Demonstrated academic achievement; $1000-$2000

US Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Spring 2015; For students of Contemporary Business, Contemporary Business Practice, or Accounting. Applicants must have attained at least 30 credits of post-secondary education and be enrolled at IHCC. Must also be a member in good standing of US Federal Credit Union at the time of judging and award. Individuals can open and fund their account online, or they can visit any of the credit union's 8 Twin Cities locations.

Veterans Scholarship
Fall or spring: full or part time: available for veterans or persons currently serving in the military; evidence of clear career goals; special consideration for financial need; special consideration for challenging life circumstances; cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher; amount varies.

Veterans Club-Carol Juers Memorial Scholarship
Fall or spring; full or part time; for veteran, spouse of veteran or child of veteran; evidence of clear career goals, financial need, challenging life circumstances, academic achievement, leadership and volunteerism. Applicant must describe in the "life circumstances" portion of the essay if they are a veteran, married to veteran, or a child of a veteran to be eligible to receive this scholarship; $250

Walter and Ester Pechacek Memorial Scholarship
Fall or Spring: student must have been admitted into the nursing program; special consideration for financial need; scholastic achievement (gpa), life circumstances, recommendations and honors, career goals and campus and/or community service/leadership. $500

Xcel Energy STEM Scholarship
