Ways to Learn
Course Delivery Methods
Courses can be fully in-person to fully online, with several variations.This infographic shows course delivery methods at Inver Hills. When you search for a course in e-Services, the "Delivery Method" section will tell you how that course will be delivered. More details are shown in the "Notes" section.
Some courses are "accelerated." These courses take a typical 16 weeks of learning and condense it into four, six or eight weeks depending on whether it is a fall, spring or summer term. Accelerated courses offer flexibility for busy schedules, and move through the course content rapidly.
Course delivery methods include:
- In-person, face-to-face
- Hybrid and blended courses that combine in-person and online components
- Online or mostly online
