Inver Hills Military & Veteran Services and Counseling Office work as a team to make sure our student military and veteran population has an easier time gaining success in college. The college offers military/veteran-specific support services, scholarships, networking and employment opportunities.
The Veterans Lounge
The Veterans Lounge is designed for veterans, service members and families to have a central place to relax, study, and socialize with others. This study and lounge space has computers, printer, snacks, and beverages, refrigerator and a microwave. This is a great place to find up-to-date veteran information and talk with other veterans. The college has collaborated with the Family Assistance Center, VA Medical Center and the St Paul Vets Center for community-based support services.
Club VALOR
VALOR is a military/student veteran club that includes:
- Campus Leadership for Veterans, Military and Family
- Outreach, support, social, service
- Student Veterans of America Chapter
- Volunteerism – continuing to serve
