Refund checks generally take two to three weeks for process and return. The Enrollment Center uses the effective date of a drop or withdrawal to begin the process. See Refund of Tuition and Fees (Minnesota State Colleges and Universities).
Inver Hills Community College has partnered with BankMobile to deliver your financial aid refund. For more information, visit bankmobiledisbursements.com. You do not have to open an account with BankMobile to receive a refund.
See Inver Hills' contract with BankMobile, a Division of Customer Bank.
See the Financial Aid Forms and Policies Page for information on refund policy for financial aid recipients.
Look for the policy called Refunds and the "Return of Title IV Funds."
You are strongly encouraged to meet with an academic counselor or advisor before withdrawing from classes. Course withdrawals appear as a grade of "W" on a transcript and count against your course completion rate.
See the Add, Drop, and Withdraw page for more on SAP.
The “no-obligation period” means you may withdraw from a class, receive a full refund, and avoid having a “W” grade appear on your transcript.
Withdrawal dates are listed on the Academic Calendar and by semester on the Add, Drop and Withdraw page.
The refund schedule is based on the policy adopted by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees.
