This course assumes you have basic familiarity with the Linux command line. Explores the architecture, components, operations, and security required for large, complex networks, including wide area network (WAN) technologies, and the fundamentals of cryptographic systems. This includes the ability to configure the OSPF routing protocol, access control lists, NAT, firewalls, and VPNs. The course emphasizes network security concepts and introduces network virtualization and automation. Students learn how to configure, troubleshoot, and secure enterprise network devices, understand how application programming interfaces (API) and configuration management tools enable network automation, and how to provide for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and network systems. This course completes the coursework preparation for the CCNA certification exam and provides additional network security content.
