Advises: Students undecided about their major and Veteran & Military affiliated students
Rob began his college experience as an undecided community college student who earned an Associate in Arts degree. He then transferred to St. John’s University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Humanities.
Rob returned to the community college environment when he joined Inver Hills in 2003. He has spent over 20 years working with students.
He especially likes the day-to-day interaction with students and helping them achieve their educational goals and dreams. Rob really enjoys the opportunity to help students overcome personal obstacles to their success. He understands that students at a commuter school can face many challenges.
In his free time, Rob spends time with his wife and three children, enjoy the outdoors, likes to camp, hike, boat, travel, hunt, explore and spend quality time with loved ones. Recently, he has found an interest in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and the practice of meditation.
