Reading and math skills begin at a very early age, and it’s up to teachers, parents, and other adults to help children excel in these abilities. Unfortunately, not every child gets the amount of attention they need and deserve when it comes to their reading and math skills.
That's where you come in. Schools need students like you to work as a reading tutor for grades K-5 or a math tutor for grades K-8. You don’t have to be an English major, a Math major, or an Education major. You just have to like working with kids and giving back to your community.
