Bio
Hilary is the Director of Academic and Learning Support and has worked at Inver Hills since Fall 2016. As the director, she oversees the staff and student tutors in the Learning Center. Before Inver Hills, she worked at Saint Paul College as the tutoring coordinator. The greatest part of her job is seeing students visit with a tutor and leaving feeling more confident in areas they did not think were strengths and ready to tackle the next assignment, quiz, or exam with less anxiety. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Hamline University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Metropolitan State University.

Bio
Joan has been working in the Learning Center at Inver Hills since 2001. She works with peer tutoring and the Office of Accessibility Resources and enjoys helping students to access services. She has two children (one of whom is a graduate of Inver Hills) and lives with her husband in Mendota Heights.
